To Create a UV-Curve from Isoline
1. Select a surface in the graphics window or on the GTS tree, on which you want to create a curve.
2. Click the arrow next to UV-Curves on the Create tab and click UV-Curve from Isoline. The UV-Curve From Isoline tab opens and the natural domain of the surface is displayed along with its trimmed boundaries.
A constant U parameter curve is created across the entire natural domain of the surface. If you selected the surface in the GTS tree, then by default the curve is defined by the constant U parameter value 0.5. If you selected the surface graphically, then the constant U value is defined by the U value of the surface location at the point of selection.
3. To change the curve to a constant V parameter curve that passes though the same location, click on the UV-Curve From Isoline tab. If you selected the surface in the GTS tree, then by default the curve is defined by the constant V parameter value 0.5. If you selected the surface graphically, then the constant V value is defined by the V value on the surface at the point of selection.
4. To change the location of the curve, select a new location on the surface. Depending on the parameter direction that you set, a constant U or constant V parameter curve is created through the selected location based on the U or V parameter value at that location.
5. Click on the UV-Curve From Isoline tab to create the UV-curve.
