You can use the
Check Status and
Update commands to find and restore the missing part and subassembly components of imported assemblies. Missing TIM components display the broken links
![](../../data_exchange/atb/images/wrn_atbprt.png)
icon on the Model Tree.
You must, therefore, select and right-click a missing TIM component and click
Associative Topology Bus >
Check Status before you click
Associative Topology Bus >
Update. You can also directly click
Model >
Operations >
ATB >
Auto Check Status on Update.
Auto Check Status on Update or
Check Status searches for the source files of the missing TIM components and restores the source files based on the source file names and path stored as the ATB information of the TIMs. ATB restores the source files of the missing TIM components from the directory or folder set as the value of the
atb_search_path configuration option. The source files of the missing CADDS 5 TIM components are restored from the location set as the value of the
extend_cvpath configuration option or the CVPATH environment variable.
Before you use the
Check Status and
Update commands or use the
Auto Check Status on Update command, you must set the
atb_search_path configuration option to point to the location of the source files of the missing TIM part and subassembly components. You can set several instances of this configuration option. Set the
extend_cvpath configuration option for CADDS 5 models. You can also locate the missing components and copy them to the import folder before you use the
Check Status and
Update commands or the
Auto Check Status on Update command.
