To Check Screw Fasteners for Screw or Thread Length
The functionality described in this procedure requires a Creo Intelligent Fastener paid license which provides additional functionality to the PTC Creo Intelligent Fastener tools that are included in PTC Creo Parametric.
1. Click Tools > Intelligent Fastener > Check Screw Fasteners. The Check Screw Fasteners dialog box opens and a list of screw fasteners appears. Problematic fasteners are displayed with icons. The icons for problematic screws are described in the table below:
Screw is too short
Screw is too long
—Not screwed in.
#ETSCRMAX is exceeded.
#ETSCRMIN not fulfilled.
—Exceeds plate thickness.
—Not connected with a nut.
—Thread length is too short.
#MUSCRMIN not fulfilled.
—Thread depth exceeded.
—Thread length is too short.
#MUSCRMAX is exceeded.
 
* You can enter the MIN and MAX values for #ETSCR and #MUSCR in the configuration file ifx_screw_data.cfg.
2. Double-click a problematic fastener. The Screw Fastener Definition dialog box opens, listing the fastener errors.
3. Correct the fastener errors.
4. Repeat steps 2 and 3 for each problematic fastener.
5. Click Close to close the dialog box.
