To Handle Children of Suppressed Components
1. Retrieve an assembly and select a component that has children.
2. Right-click and choose Suppress from the shortcut menu. The Suppress dialog box opens.
3. Click Options. The Children Handling dialog box opens.
4. Where applicable, use the following options:
Click Local or External to view the list of local and external children.
Clear the Suppress entire group check box to select an operation for individual group members affected by suppressing the parent.
5. Select a child object, then select an option from the Status list:
Suppress
Suspend
Freeze
6. Repeat step 5 for all the objects.
7. Click OK.
 
* Frozen components are identified by in the Model Tree.
