To Create a Length Measurement Parameter
1. In the
Parameter dialog box, click
.
|  When you are creating the bulk item, click in the Local Parameters area of the Relations dialog box. |
2. Type a new parameter name or use the default name.
3. Click the cell in the Type column. In the Type drop-down box, click Length Measure.
4. Define the remaining bulk item parameters. Note that the User Input checkbox is automatically selected for the Length Measure type parameter.
5. Click OK. The Bulk Component dialog box opens.
6. In the assembly model, select the curve or edge used to calculate the length measurement. The Value cell is updated with the calculated length measurement.
7. Click Close.
8. Click OK.
