User-Defined Parameters in NC Sequences
As an advanced NC user, you can now add user-defined parameters in an XML file to be included in the CL Data, which can then be interpreted by the post processor.
User Interface Location:
1. In a manufacturing assembly, create or edit a sequence, and then edit parameters.
2. Select the User-Defined Parameters tab.

What is the benefit of this enhancement?
This enhancement is useful if you are familiar with post-processing development and want the flexibility to add user-defined commands included in the CL data as a PPRINT and defined value.
This enhancement removes the limitation of using only the existing CL commands in Creo NC and adds the flexibility in programing NC machine tools.

Tips:
You need to create the XLM template with the appropriate rules, update the user-defined parameters in the machine tool setup, and set the PPRINT user-defined parameter to YES.
