What is the benefit of this enhancement?
This enhancement is useful when you want to generate a part with the minimum mass necessary to properly support the loading conditions.
Previously, structural optimizations for generative design could only minimize the strain energy at a mass or volume target. The new design goal allows you to do the reverse—minimize mass while maintaining the safety factor requirements.
This enhancement allows you to generate low-mass parts that can support the specified load conditions.
