Running a Combined Study in Creo Simulation Live
You can add secondary simulation entities to a structural or thermal study to study results related to structural loads and constraints, as well as thermal loads and boundary conditions in the same study.
To Define a Combined Study
1. For a structure study, click Live Simulation > Study and select the Include Thermal check box. Thermal boundary conditions and loads are now available on the Live Simulation ribbon interface.
2. Define thermal loads and boundary conditions in addition to structural loads and constraints.
3. Run the study. When the study completes you can view thermal results in addition to stress, displacement and other structure study result quantities.
On similar lines, for a thermal study click Live Simulation > Study and select the Include Structural check box to allow you to define secondary structural loads and constraints for a thermal study.
