Heat Flow Load—Creo Simulation Live
Heat flow loads simulate local heat sources and sinks for your model. A heat flow load sets the rate of heat energy transfer of selected surfaces. You can apply heat flow loads to both internal and external surfaces of your model.
To Define a Heat Flow Load
1. Click Live Simulation > Heat Flow. The Heat Flow Load dialog box opens.
2. Type a name for the heat flow load or accept the default name.
3. Select a surface to which you want to apply the heat flow load. Your selection appears in the References collector.
4. Specify a value for the Heat Flow Load.
5. Select units from the list or accept the default units.
6. Click OK.to create and save the heat flow load.
