User-defined Steps for Thermal Analyses
Use this button to specify the spacing between steps in the time range.
You can enter different values for each step. The values you enter must be in increasing order from step to step. When you click the User-defined Steps button, you can also use the Space Equally button to evenly space the steps.

For a steady state thermal analysis if you have selected Nonlinear / Use Load Histories then the default maximum time step in the output step table is the maximum value of time as defined in the table function for time dependence for a load or constraint set that you have selected for your analysis.
This button acts as a toggle button. When you click it a second time the output steps are automatically selected. The dialog box shows Auto for each step in the table.
You cannot enter any values for the steps if you selected Auto for the maximum of the time range.
