Relative To

When you select a directional component for a quantity, you can choose the reference direction of the component from the Relative To drop-down list. The reference options available on the Relative To drop-down list vary depending on the quantity.

Use the Relative To drop-down list to display results relative to:

• a coordinate system

• a coordinate

• the material orientation

• the ply orientation

• the beam orientation

• the curve arc length
