Example: T-Bracket
In the following approach, Creo Simulate compresses shell pair a to form the horizontal plane of the T-bracket and shell pair b to form the vertical plane.

If your model includes a meeting of more than two surface pairs, make sure the compressed midsurfaces all intersect at a common point or axis. If they do not, correct the model manually to ensure a proper intersection.
The original model in the above example was created as a solid model. However, if you created this model using Sheetmetal, the software may not merge the common surface of the two perpendicular plates, resulting in a gap between the two midsurfaces. In this case, you may need to correct the geometry to ensure that Creo Simulate solves the model correctly.
