Initial Condition and State
In the Flow Analysis Tree, under Domains, select a fluid domain to see the Initial Condition and State in the Properties panel.
Initial Condition
Initial Condition refers to the values of the independent variables required to start a simulation when you select Start from Initial Values in the Run group.
Specified Temperature—Specify the initial temperature (K) for a selected Volume under the Heat module in the Properties panel. By default, the Initial Condition is 300 K.
State
The State of a Volume within the Heat module determines whether the energy equation is solved (Active) or not solved (Blanked) within that volume. Setting the State of a Volume to Blanked for the Heat module is equivalent to freezing its temperature at the initial value.
