Using Results Templates—Creo Ansys Simulation
Saving Advanced Results to Templates
After you create advanced results, you can save them as a template to use in other studies and models. To save results to a template perform the following steps:
1. Define and save advanced results using appropriate methods.
2. Click Ansys Simulation > Results > Save results as Template. The Save Result in Template dialog box opens.
3. Select a name for the template file or use the default.
4. Click Save to save the results as a template to be reused in another study or model.
Defining Advanced Results from a Template
You can define results from a previously saved template. This process adds all the results from the template to the active simulation study. To define results from a template carry out the following steps:
1. Click Ansys Simulation > Define Results > Create results from template. The Open Result Template dialog box opens.
2. Select a valid results template file. The results template file is an xml file that is created by saving previously created advanced results. Click Open.
3. The advanced results from the template are added to the simulation study and displayed in the Simulation Tree. Right-click a result to rename it, or click Edit Definitionto change the definition of the result.
