TEMPLATE_LAYERS (Layer Checks Based on Standard Layers in Template Files)
Y/N/E/W
This check ensures that the layers in the drawing, part, or assembly conform to the standard layers defined in the start templates. You can use the following format to specify the names of the start file templates in the start configuration .mcs file:
1. PRT_TEMPLATE part_tmp.prt
where part_tmp.prt is the name of the start part template.
2. DRW_TEMPLATE drw_tmp.drw
where drw_tmp.drw is the name of the start drawing template.
3. ASM_TEMPLATE asm_temp.asm
where asm_temp.asm is the name of the start assembly template.
You can type the values in a text editor or use the Link to Template File start configuration option in the ModelCheck Configuration Tool to update the start configuration file.
When you run the TEMPLATE_LAYERS check, the Creo ModelCHECK report displays a list of errors for the layers in the model that do not conform to the layer rules defined in the template files. If you click the Reapply Standard button, the model is corrected and updated based on the standard layer rules defined in the template file.
