About the Creo Manikin User Interface
The Manikin user interface consists of commands and a 3D dragger. When the Manikin tab is open, the default selection filter is Manikin Objects.
Commands
• Manikin Placement
◦ Insert Manikin—Opens the
Open and
Place Manikin dialog boxes.
◦ Edit Placement—Opens the
Place Manikin dialog box.
• Population
◦ Edit Manikin—Creates a customized manikin by editing the dimensions of a customizable manikin.
• Motion
◦ Reach—Opens the
Manikin Reach dialog box.
◦ Reach Envelope—Shows or hides the manikin reach envelope.
◦ Save Posture—Opens the
Save Object dialog box.
◦ Apply Posture—Opens the
All Postures gallery.
• Vision
◦ Look At—Opens the
Look At dialog box.
◦ Vision Window—Simulates what is seen by the manikin in a given position. Toggles the Vision Window on and off.
◦ Vision Cones—Shows or hides the vision cones.
• Ergonomic Analysis
◦ Center of Gravity—Shows or hides the center of gravity.
◦ RULA Analysis—Opens the
RULA Analysis dialog box.
◦ Comfort Angle Analysis—Opens the
Comfort Analysis dialog box.
• Task Analysis
◦ Lifting or Lowering Analysis

Shortcut menus
Right-click a manikin part in the Model Tree to access shortcut menu commands.
• Reach—Opens the
Manikin Reach dialog box.
• Reach Envelope—Shows or hides the manikin reach envelope.

3D Dragger
Click a manikin segment, or any geometry or feature that belongs to the segment, and a 3D dragger appears in the graphics window so you can translate and rotate manikin segments.
