To Modify Individual Tolerance Values
1. Select a dimension. The Dimension ribbon tab opens.
2. Change tolerance values, as necessary; from the options available in the Tolerance group:
Upper tolerance and lower tolerance text boxes provide you with the upper and lower limit values that are calculated as sum of the dimension value (either nominal or overridden) and current values of upper or lower deviation respectively. When values in upper tolerance and lower tolerance text boxes are updated, values of the upper and lower deviation are updated.
The Tolerance Value Only check box is not active for the Nominal and Basic tolerance modes.
For Limits tolerance mode, the Tolerance Value Only option is enabled only when either Hole or Shaft tolerance table is chosen with the Display Values option activated. Otherwise, the Tolerance Value Onlyoption is disabled.
For Plus-Minus tolerance mode, the Tolerance Value Only option is enabled.
*
The tolerance table must be set to none if a tolerance value of a table-driven tolerance is to be modified.
