Showing or Hiding a Stock Model
The created stock models are listed in the footer of the Model Tree. Each stock model is represented in a separate tree node. You can show or hide the stock models per your requirement. indicates a shown stock model and indicates a hidden stock model in the footer of the Model Tree.
Consider the following when showing or hiding stock models:
The stock models are in hidden state by default.
The shown state of stock models is not retained between Creo sessions.
You can show only a single stock model at a time for the same workpiece. If one stock model is shown and you show another stock model from the same workpiece, the first model is automatically hidden.
You can show or hide multiple stock models at the same time if each stock model belongs to a different workpiece.
To show a stock model:
1. In the footer of the Model Tree, select a hidden stock model that you want to show. A mini toolbar appears.
You can also select multiple hidden stock models from different workpieces if each stock model belongs to different workpiece.
2. Select Show Stock Model on the mini toolbar.

When you use Show Stock Model for the first time on a single stock model, the stock model is computed and then shown.
To hide a stock model:
1. In the footer of the Model Tree, select a shown stock model that you want to hide. A mini toolbar appears.
You can also select multiple shown stock models from different workpieces if each stock model belongs to different workpiece.
2. Select Hide Stock Model on the mini toolbar.

You can select multiple stock models from different workpieces if each stock model belongs to different workpiece. If your selection contains a mix of hidden and shown stock models, the mini toolbar displays both the Show Stock Model and Hide Stock Model commands. You can apply the Show Stock Model command on all hidden stock models or apply the Hide Stock Model command on shown models in such cases.
When redefining the stock model if you make any changes and preview the stock model, and then click to discard the changes, the stock model gets hidden.
