Customizing Mini Toolbar and Shortcut Menu
You can customize the mini toolbar and shortcut menu to include frequently-used commands and create your own group of commands.

You cannot select items (or continue working) in the graphics window when you are customizing the mini toolbar and shortcut menu.
When you select an item, the mini toolbar for the selected geometry appears. When you right-click the item, the shortcut menu containing the relevant commands appear. You can customize the options that you get for the mini toolbar and shortcut menu for the selected item.
To Customize the Mini Toolbar and Shortcut Menu from the Graphics Window
1. In the Graphics window, select an item, and right-click. The mini toolbar and shortcut menu appears.
2. Click Customize on the shortcut menu. The mini toolbar and the shortcut menu open in the customization mode. The Creo Commands dialog box opens.

If you right-click the mini toolbar and click Customize, only the mini toolbar opens in the customization mode.
If you click Open in Options, the Options dialog box opens with the Shortcut Menus customization page selected by default.
3. Customize the mini toolbar and shortcut menu as follows:
Add commands — Drag and drop the command from the Creo Commands dialog box or the ribbon into the mini toolbar and shortcut menu. Use the Filter Commands box to find a specific command. If the number of commands in a row exceeds the limit of the commands that can be displayed in a row, the additional commands move to the right, into the overflow list. Click the arrow to view the commands in the overflow list. You can also drag and drop to change order of commands and group in the shortcut menu.
Remove commands — Drag and drop the command outside the mini toolbar or shortcut menu or right-click the command, and click Remove.
Hide or Show rows — If you clear the check box for a row in the mini toolbar or the shortcut menu, the commands in that row do not display when you exit the customization mode. You must again select the check box in the customization mode to view the commands. To change the display of the commands in the shortcut menu, right-click a group and select one of the following options:
Convert to Toolbar Menu
Convert to Cascade Menu
Click OK on the Creo Commands dialog box to exit the customization mode. The rows that do not contain any commands are not displayed in the mini toolbar and shortcut menu, after you exit the customization mode.
Customizations made in the current mode are also propagated to the other modes. To stop propagation, right-click the check boxes that appear in the customization mode and clear the Propagate Customizationcheck box.
To Customize the Mini Toolbar and Shortcut Menu from the Options Dialog Box
1. Right-click the mini toolbar, and click Customize or click Customizeon the shortcut menu.
2. In the Creo Commands dialog box, click Open in Options. The Shortcut Menus customization page is selected by default.
3. From the selection list on the right, select the item for which you want to customize the mini toolbar and the shortcut menu.
4. Perform the following customizations on the mini toolbar and shortcut menu:
Add and remove commands
Hide or show mini toolbar rows and shortcut menu groups
Toggle the display of groups to toolbar menu and cascade menu
Set the accessibility of the mini toolbar
5. Click OK.
To Set Accessibility of the Mini toolbar
On the Options dialog box, select Shortcut Menus and select one of the following options from the Mini Toolbar Accessibility list:
Show on left and right click
Show on right click only
To Remove Commands from the Mini Toolbar and Shortcut Menu
1. In the Graphics window, select an item, and right-click. The mini toolbar and shortcut menu appear.
2. Click Customize on the shortcut menu. The mini toolbar and the shortcut menu open in the customization mode.
3. Drag and drop the command outside the mini toolbar or shortcut menu or right-click the command, and click Remove.
To Stop Propagating Customizations of Mini Toolbar and the Quick Access Toolbar
1. In the Graphics window, select an item, and right-click. The mini toolbar and shortcut menu appear.
2. Click Customize on the shortcut menu. The mini toolbar and the shortcut menu open in the customization mode.
Mini Toolbar — Right-click the check box adjacent to the row of commands for which you want to stop propagation and clear the Propagate Customization check box.
Shortcut Menu — Right-click the group for which you want to stop propagating the customizations and clear the Propagate Customization check box.
To Reset the Mini Toolbar and Shortcut Menu to Default Settings
1. In the Graphics window, select an item, and right-click. The mini toolbar and shortcut menu appear.
2. Click Customize on the shortcut menu. The mini toolbar, the shortcut menu, and the Creo Commands dialog box open in the customization mode. Reset the commands in the following UI items
Graphics Window — Click Reset. Resets the customization of selected mini toolbar and shortcut menu
Options dialog box — On the Creo Commands dialog box, click Open in Options. The Options dialog box opens. The Shortcut Menus customization page is selected by default. Click Reset and reset customization as follows:
Reset selected Shortcut Menu and corresponding Mini Toolbar — Resets the customization of selected mini toolbar and shortcut menu.
Reset All Shortcut Menus and Mini Toolbars — Resets all the customization of mini toolbar and shortcut menu in the current mode.
