To Search for Annotation Element by References
You can search for annotation elements by parent and child references within your model.
1. Click Tools > Find. The Search Tool dialog box opens.
2. Click Status.
3. Select Annotation Element from the Look for list.
4. Select Feature from the Look by list.
5. In the Rule section, click Parent/Child.
6. Select the parent and child comparison from the Comparison list.
7. Select one of the following element references from the Reference Type list:
Axis
Coordinate System
Datum Plane
Edge
Point
Surface
8. Select the reference entity used as the annotation element reference.
9. Select or clear check boxes to find all references of selected objects and to find external children of sub-models.
10. Click Find Now. The found items and corresponding locations are listed in the items found section of the Search Tool dialog box. The results are also highlighted in the Model Tree and graphics window.
11. To select items, click to transfer items from items found to the items selected section of the Search Tool dialog box.
12. Click Close.
