To Retrieve and Update an Existing Scene from the Disk
1. On the View tab, click Scenes and click Edit Scene in the gallery. The Scene Editor dialog box opens.
2. Click to load a scene from the library to the Scene Gallery if the scene is not already loaded.
3. To activate the scene, double-click the scene's thumbnail in the Gallery or right-click and click Apply. The scene is applied to the current model.

You can load an existing scene file or model with a scene file that is saved using Creo Parametric 3.0 or earlier. The following warning appears in the message window—The model scene is from Creo Parametric 3.0 or earlier and is no longer supported. Save the scene file or model with a scene file from Creo Parametric 4.0 to avoid this warning in the following sessions.
4. Make modifications to the scene by changing the lights, environment, or background settings.

When you edit the scene, the symbol on the scene's thumbnail changes to a symbol, indicating that the scene has been modified.
5. Click . The Save As dialog box opens. Overwrite the original scene file in the scene library.

A warning is displayed when overwriting the file.
6. Click OK. The original scene is updated with the changes and its thumbnail is updated in the Gallery.
