About the Images User Interface
The Images tab consists of commands and shortcut menus. Click View > Images to open the Images tab.
Commands
box—Sets the transparency level for the image.
Custom transparency box—Sets a custom transparency level when the box value is Custom.
Set Transparent Color—Makes the selected color transparent.
Rotate—Opens a menu that contains the following rotate and flip options:
Rotate Left 90°—Rotates the image 90 degrees to the left.
Rotate Right 90°—Rotates the image 90 degrees to the right.
Flip Vertical—Flips the image vertically.
Flip Horizontal—Flips the image horizontally.
Images—Displays a list of images imported into the model using Images.
Import—Imports an image file into the model.
Hide—Hides the selected image.
Remove—Removes the selected image from the model.
Reset—Resets the image and all handles to their original settings.
Fit—Fits the scale of the image to match a specific value.
Free—Fits the image to a size between two points whose location you define.
Horizontal—Fits the image to a size between two points that are aligned horizontally.
Vertical—Fits the image to a size between two points that are aligned vertically.
Lock Aspect Ratio—Locks the ratio between the image’s height and width.
.Height box—Sets the image height.
.Width box—Sets the image width.
Normal Move—Moves the image normal to the plane on which it lies.
Reset to Plane—Moves the image to the original plane onto which it was imported.
Shortcut Menus
Select an image when the Image tab is open and right-click the graphics window to access shortcut menu commands.
Remove—Removes the selected image from the model.
Reset—Resets the image and all handles to their original settings.
Lock Aspect Ratio—Locks the ratio between the image’s height and width.
Set Transparent Color—Makes the selected color transparent.
Normal Move—Moves the image normal to the plane on which it lies.
