To Add Parameters to Dimension Text
Use this procedure to add parameter callouts before and after the prefix or suffix text of a dimension.
1. Select the dimension to modify. The Dimension tab opens.
2. Click Dimension Text. The dimension text panel opens.
3. In the Dimension Text box, add the parameter names as follows:
◦ Before @D, type & and add the parameter name that must appear before the prefix and the dimension text.
◦ After @D, type & and add the parameter name that must appear after the dimension text and the suffix.
The parameter values appear before and after the prefix and suffix text of the dimension.
4. Click outside the dimension text panel.

You can place the dimensions and parameter text in driven dimensions or associative dimensions owned by the same model. However, you cannot place them in draft dimensions or associative draft dimensions.
