Catalog Files
The catalog files are used to define the content and the sorting for the Catalog, Screw, Washer, Nut, and Dowel Pin lists in the Screw Fastener Definition and Dowel Pin Fastener Definition dialog boxes.
The catalog files are located in the folder FOLDER_FOR_CATALOGS in the directory which you specify with the Creo Intelligent Fastener configuration option PATH_ABS_LIBRARY.
You can use a prefix for the catalog file names which is important if you want to upload your library to Windchill. To avoid uploading a file that has the same name as a catalog that exists in your database, add a prefix to your fastener instance catalog file names. To add a prefix, set the Creo Intelligent Fastener configuration option PREFIX_FOR_CATALOG_FILES. For example, you may want to set PREFIX_FOR_CATALOG_FILES to the value IFX to add the prefix IFX to your fastener instance catalog file names.
There are two types of catalog files, the main catalog file and the catalog files for the fastener instances.
*
The names and the group names of the catalog files are translated using the library translation file.
Lines starting with an exclamation point (!) are ignored.
