To Define Bulk Model Properties

1. In an open assembly, click

Create. The Create Component dialog box opens.

2. Click Bulk Item and type PAINT for the Name.

3. Click OK. The Creation Options dialog box opens.

4. Select a Creation Method

◦ Copy from existing—Copies the creation method from a template. Click Browse and select a template from the Choose template dialog box.

◦ Empty—Creates a bulk item part with no initial parameters.

The Relations dialog box opens. Local Parameters display.

5. Click

to add a new parameter.

6. Right-click the Type cell. In the drop-down box, click String.

7. In the Name cell, type COLOR.

8. Make the parameter User-Defined.

9. Click

to add another parameter.

10. Right-click the Type cell. In the drop-down box, click Area Measure.

11. In the Name cell, type PAINT_AREA.

12. Create a relation to calculate the paint needed.
