Steady Thermal Analysis Overview
Description
A steady thermal analysis calculates a thermal response to specified heat loads subject to specified prescribed temperatures and/or convection conditions.
For example, you could define a steady thermal analysis for a model with a cooling fin, as on a lawn mower engine. In defining the analysis, you would subject the cooling fin to a constant heat load (piston heat output) and a forced convection (moving air).
Creo Simulate automatically calculates all generic, mass property, and thermal measures.
