Use fatigue analysis to determine whether your model is susceptible to fatigue damage when subjected to cyclic loading. A solver technology is integrated with fatigue analysis and is provided by HBM-nCode,. Fatigue analysis requires a Fatigue Advisor license from PTC.

Before defining a fatigue analysis, you must first define a static analysis. You must also assign fatigue properties to the materials of your model in order to get valid fatigue results. You can also use an external fatigue materials file to define the fatigue properties for an analysis.
