Dynamic Cutting and Capping Surface Displays
Use the Dynamic button on the Results Surface Definition dialog box to dynamically change a cutting or capping surface's depth. This button is only active if you are modifying an existing cutting or capping surface.
When you click the Dynamic button, the Results Surface Definition dialog box closes. You can then use your mouse to dynamically move the cutting or capping surface to different areas of your model. To do so, depress the left mouse button and move the mouse as follows:
• To raise the cutting or capping surface—move the mouse upward in the positive Y screen direction.
• To lower the cutting or capping surface—move the mouse downward in the negative Y screen direction.
Creo Simulate repositions the cutting or capping surface according to your mouse movements, but retains the original angle of the surface. When you finish positioning the cutting or capping surface, click the middle mouse button to return to the Results Surface Definition dialog box. The dialog box's Depth field now reflects the change you made in the cutting or capping surface location.
