To Create a CMM Model
1. From the Creo Parametric menu bar, choose > (or click the 
icon). The system displays the New dialog box.

3. Select the CMM button under Sub-type.
4. Unless you want to accept the default, type a name for the new CMM model in the File name text box.
5. Click OK. The Model Tree opens. The model is empty. You have to bring in at least one reference model to measure.
