Outputting Operator Instructions
To output operator instructions for a CMM model, you have to set up a DMIS TEXT table for this model. This table contains all the items that can be output through DMIS TEXT. Whether an item will be output or not is determined by the flag value. The default flag value for all items is "NO". Change it to one of the following values if you want the item to be output:
• OPER—Outputs the TEXT/OPER command with the selected item into the DMIS file.
• OUTFIL—Outputs the TEXT/OUTFIL command with the selected item into the DMIS file.
• MAN—Outputs the TEXT/MAN command with the selected item into the DMIS file.
The following items are output once per DMIS file:
• PART_NAME
• DATE_TIME
The following items are output once per operation:
• OPERATION_NAME
• OPERATION_COMMENTS
• LAYER_NAME
• PROBE_TABLE
• ONLY_OUTPUT_USED_PROBES
The following items are output once per CMM step:
• STEP_NAME
• STEP_TYPE
• FEATURE_ID
• REF_CSYS
• MEASURE_FEEDRATE_&_UNITS
• SAFE_FEEDRATE_&_UNITS
• PROBE_NAME
• PROBE_TYPE
• PROBE_TIP_NUMBER
• PROBE_PITCH_ANGLE
• PROBE_ROLL_ANGLE
• PROBE_POSITION_NUMBER
• PROBE_COMMENTS
• PROBE_PARAMETERS
• REGISTER
