Transversely Isotropic

Creo Simulate > Modeling Structure and Thermal Problems > Properties > Materials > Hyperelastic Materials > Transversely Isotropic

When you select the transversely isotropic material symmetry on the Structural tab of the Material Definition dialog box, you must specify the following properties of the material:

• Young's Modulus

• Poisson's Ratio

• Shear Modulus

• Coefficient of Thermal Expansion

You can specify the following Material Limits for the transversely isotropic material:

• Tensile Ultimate Stress

• Compressive Ultimate Stress

• Shear Ultimate Stress

• Normalized Tsai-Wu Interaction Term

You can also specify the Failure Criterion for the material.

If you select the Thermal tab, the following properties appear on the Material Definition dialog box:

• Specific Heat Capacity

• Thermal Conductivity
