When you select multiple windows using the SHIFT key, all the commands on the Orientation dialog box accessed from View > Orientation > Spin/Pan/Zoom work simultaneously on all the selected windows. However, if you have tied the orientation of multiple windows using Tie Orientation, the Orientation dialog box commands and their corresponding mouse operations, work only on the result windows that was selected first.
4. Right-click to untie the tied result windows. The Tie Orientation button is made available. When the result windows are untied, commands in each window function independently once again.
