Homogeneous Stiffness
To define a homogeneous shell property type, you must specify a value in the Thickness field. You type a positive value to define shell thickness for shells, 2D shells, 2D plates, surfaces, or curves you selected. When Creo Simulate creates the shell elements for the surface, it applies the thickness you specify for the shell property equally on both sides of the selected surface. For example, if you specify a shell thickness of 1, Creo Simulate places 0.5 on the top side of the surface and 0.5 on the bottom side.

Thickness field is a
parameter-capable edit field. You can create or select a
Creo Parametric parameter for the thickness.
