To Create a Hyperelastic Material
2. Specify the Name of the material. If you want, you can write a short Description of the material.
3. Select
Isotropic as a
Material Type on the
Structural tab of the
Material Definition dialog box.
4. Select Hyperelastic as a Sub Type on the Structural tab of the Material Definition dialog box. The dialog box displays Material Model area. Creo Simulate selects Define By Tests check box by default.
6. Alternatively, if you want to choose a material model without using experimental stress-strain data, clear the Define By Tests check box on the Material Definition dialog box.
8. Specify the values of coefficients for the selected material model.
10. Specify the material properties using other tabs of the Material Definition dialog box.
11. Click Save To Model on the Material Definition dialog box. The material you created appears in the Materials in Model list on the Materials dialog box.
The new material is added to the database, but is not associated with any part or modeling entity until you
assign it to the model.
After assigning hyperelastic material to any part in your model, you can run either a large-deformation static structural analysis (LDA) or any type of small strain analyses. While running a small strain analysis, Creo Simulate uses the small strain properties of the material.
