To Copy a Material
1. Click Home > Materials. The Materials dialog box opens.
2. Select a material from the Materials in Model list.
3. Click . Creo Simulate creates a copy of the selected material and places it in the Materials in Model list. If the name is too long, the software issues a warning.
The copy of the material exists in the model file but is not assigned until you assign the material to a part or modeling entity.
