Configuration Option to Control the Display State for New Symbol Folders in the Symbol Gallery
User Interface Location: N/A
Release: Creo Parametric 8.0.5.0
What is the benefit of this enhancement?
The new configuration option def_sym_gal_state_new_folder allows you to define the default display state, expanded or collapsed, for the new symbol folders created in the symbol gallery. This applies when the new symbol folders are added to the directory that is specified by the configuration option pro_symbol_dir.
To display the newly added symbol folders expanded in the symbol gallery by default, set the configuration option to expanded.
To display the newly added symbol folders collapsed in the symbol gallery by default, set the configuration option to collapsed.
This configuration option is applicable in the drawing and 3D environments.
This configuration option provides you and CAD administrators with better control over the display of the new symbol folders in the symbol gallery. It helps you achieve a uniform display style that matches the needs of your organization.
