About the Joint Dialog Box User Interface
Use the Joint dialog box to define the start and end points of individual intermittent weld joints.
On the Fillet Weld, Groove Weld, or Butt Weld tab, click the Location tab. Select a joint in the Weld joints table, and click Details to open the Joint dialog box.
Joint Dialog Box
Start list—Sets the joint start location.
Chain End—Sets the joint start location at the end of the chain.
Blind—Sets the joint start location by a value offset from the end of the chain.
Value box—Sets an offset value.
To Selected—Sets the joint start location using a reference.
Joint start location reference collector—Collects a reference to define the joint start point.
Value box—Sets an offset value if you select a coordinate system axis or datum plane as a reference.
End list—Sets the joint end location.
Chain End—Sets the joint end point at the end of the chain.
Blind—Sets the joint end location by a value offset from the end of the chain.
Value box—Sets an offset value.

Next end—Changes the start point of the joint to the end point of the next joint.
Previous joint—Activates the joint that is listed before the current joint in the Weld joints table on the Location tab.
Next joint—Activates the joint that is listed after the current joint in the Weld joints table on the Location tab.
Shortcut Menus
While the Joint dialog box is open, right-click a part of the graphics window any place except over a handle to display the following shortcut menu commands:
Start—Lists all currently available collectors for the joint start location.
End—Lists all currently available collectors for the joint end location.
Clear—Empties the active collector.
Next end—Changes the start point of the joint to the end point of the next segment.
Previous joint—Activates the joint that is listed before the current joint in the Weld joints table on the Location tab.
Next joint—Activates the joint that is listed after the current joint in the Weld joints table on the Location tab.
