Set the Surface Area of Engine Block Using the PTC Mathcad Equation Editor
You can define the equation to calculate the surface area of engine block SAeb (heb) as follows:
1. On Page 3 of the worksheet, click in the area next to Surface area of engine block.
2. Type SA.
3. On the Math tab, click

5. Press p + CTRL + g to insert the Greek letter Pi.
6. Press SHIFT + * to insert a multiplication operator.
7. Type d and then press CTRL + MINUS SIGN to change to subscript and then type bore.
8. Press SHIFT + * to insert a multiplication operator.
9. Type h and then press CTRL + MINUS SIGN to change to subscript and then type eb.
