You must have a Creo Advanced Framework paid license, which provides additional functionality to the Creo Advanced Framework tools that are included in Creo Parametric
This task also requires a correctly configured drawing setup file with drawing units set to mm and registered in the Creo Parametric session. If you do not have this registered drawing setup file, din.dtl is provided in a demo file set by setting the configuration option drawing_setup_file to din.dtl for this Creo Parametric session. In Creo Advanced Framework Help you can find more information on how to configure drawings that are automatically created.
1. In Creo Parametric, close drawing afx_basic_tutorial.drw and open the assembly afx_basic_tutorial.asm.
2. Click Framework and then in the Drawing Tools group, click Create component drawings. The Drawing Creation Configuration dialog box opens.
3. Select the Create part drawings, Dimension drawings, and Create chain dimensions check boxes.
