To Stretch Geometry
1. Click Editing > Warp to open the Warp tab.
2. Select the geometry to stretch.
3. Click Stretch to display the stretch settings and to display the stretch marquee.
4. Click Next Axis until you see the axis aligned in the direction that you want to stretch the geometry. Alternatively, right-click and select Next Axis.
5. If required, click Flip Direction to reverse the direction of the stretch axis. Alternatively, right-click and select Reverse Axis.
6. Drag the stretch handle to stretch the geometry, or double-click the value for scale and enter a new value.
Alternatively, type a value for stretching the geometry in the Scale box. Optionally, click to export the parameter value to edit outside of Warp.
7. To customize the marquee for the Stretch operation, click the Marquee tab, and set one or more of the marquee options:
References—Select optional references for the marquee.
Active Axis—Type Start and End values to determine the size of the marquee. Optionally, click to export the parameter value to edit outside of Warp.
The range depends on the Marquee Size type you selected.
Marquee Size—Select a method of measurement to set the dimensions of the active axis.

When you create an Absolute marquee size and use optional references, you must edit the referenced object outside of the Warp feature to change the marquee's length.
You can also modify the marquee by dragging its faces. For example, if the direction of the stretch axis is along the x-axis, drag the right and the left faces of the marquee to adjust the region for stretching. If the stretch axis is in the direction of the y-axis, drag the top and the bottom faces of the marquee to adjust the region for stretching.
8. Select any warp operation to complete the current warp operation or click OK to complete the warp feature.
