To Create an Offset of a Curve On Surface by Intersect
Open the Style feature in which you created a COS by intersect, and create an offset of the COS by intersect within the same Style feature.
1. In the Model Tree, select the Style feature that contains the COS by intersect, and then right-click and choose Edit Definition. The Style tab opens.
2. Click Style > Curve > Offset Curve. The Offset Curve tab opens.
3. Click the Curves collector, and then select the curve on surface (COS) by intersect to offset.
*
The surfaces on which the COS by intersect lies are the references to specify the initial direction of the offset. By default, the offset is created on the surface that you first selected while generating the COS by intersect.
4. To set the surface along which the COS by intersect is offset, select the surface in the Surface list.
5. To set the distance to offset the curve, type a value in the Distance box, or drag the handle on the curve. Optionally, click to export the parameter value to edit outside of Style.
*
Typing a negative value in the Distance box reverses the direction of the offset.
6. To offset the curve perpendicular to the reference plane, click Normal.
7. To extend the start or end point of the curve to the nearest surface boundary, click the Options tab, and then select the Start or End check box.
8. Click OK.
