To Create a Section Curve
1. Click > > 
Section.
Section.2. Select the datum plane to use for the section. The system creates a curve on facets as an intersection of the faceted data and the selected datum plane.
Optionally, to create a datum plane at a required location, click > 
Plane. The Datum Plane dialog box opens. Specify the datum plane placement parameters. Restyle creates a curve at the cross section of the datum plane and the faceted model.
