Verification Guide—Creo Simulation Live and Creo Ansys Simulation
This section contains a set of verification and benchmark cases. The verification cases compare the results of some simple problems with the calculated results, and the results of Creo Simulate, Ansys Discovery Live and Creo Simulation Live. Additionally there is a comparison between the results of Ansys AIM and Creo Ansys Simulation.
The benchmark cases compare the results of Ansys Discovery Live with Creo Simulation Live and the results of Ansys AIM with Creo Ansys Simulation.
All the verification cases are run with the following GPU hardware:
• NVIDIA graphics card with the following:
◦ Quadro M2000M
◦ 4GB Graphics Card
◦ CUDA version 10.2

All tests are run with the simulation quality slider at the default position, unless specified otherwise.

To run these verification and benchmark cases yourself you can download the models from here. Download the file simulation_live_verification_models.zip to your local machine and extract the contents of the zip file.
There are two product folders:
• Creo Ansys Simulation—Contains models used to run verification cases in Creo Ansys Simulation.
• Creo Simulation Live—Contains models used to run verification cases in Creo Simulation Live.
Each product folder has the following sub-folders with the same set of models. However the models have been created separately to account for differences in boundary conditions available in each product.
