Result Display Options for Streamlines
The streamline display options are available only when the selected result quantity is velocity. Click Display Options and then click the arrow next to Streamlines. Click Streamlines Options to open the Animation Options dialog box. Click to change the following streamline options:
• Streamline Option Buttons—The following buttons control animation of the streamlines.

—Applies the settings to all the sets of streamlines. By default, only this button is pressed.

—Switches between playing or pausing the animation of streamlines.

—Displays streamlines as vectors.

—Draws streamlines to the reverse side of the emitter.
—Draws streamlines to the reverse side of the emitter.The following options control the appearance of the streamlines for a selected emitter.
• Count—Varies the number of streamlines.
• Width—Controls the width of streamlines.
• Steps—Changes the number of steps at which to display streamlines.
• Step Size—Changes the size of the time steps used in the animation. Use smaller step size to show more detail.
• Length—Trims the streamlines off at a certain point.
• Tail Length—The streamline tails show the location history of the particles from the time they start to appear. Move the slider to adjust the tail length and trim off some of the history.
