To Define a Moment Measure
This procedure assumes you selected the Moment quantity on the Measure Definition dialog box.
1. Select Reaction At Constraint, Resultant or Spring.
2. Select one of the following components: Magnitude, X, Y, Z.
3. For the components X, Y, or Z, select a coordinate system.
4. If Reaction At Constraint is the quantity, select constraints.
5. If Resultant is the quantity, select one of the following in the Spatial Evaluation area:
Surfaces
Edges
Components
Click and select the geometric entities on the model.
6. If Spring is the quantity, select a spring.
7. Select a reference point about which you want to define the moment.
8. If you picked Spring and want to define a dynamic analysis, check the Time/Frequency Eval check box.
9. Review the list box in the Valid for Analysis Types area of the dialog box to determine which types of analyses are valid for the measure.
10. If you selected Resultant or Spring, check the Visible at higher assembly level check box to make the defined measures visible at a higher assembly level as well.
11. Click OK. The custom measures are listed on the Measures dialog box.
