Reduce the Number of Solid Elements
If AutoGEM creates more solid elements than you can successfully analyze on your machine, you may need to modify your model in one or more of the following ways:
Suppress part features that you know have little or no effect on your results.
If your model has an extremely high number of local measures, consider deleting some of these measures.
Relax the element quality criteria on the Limits tab.
For example, you can use this dialog box to change the minimum and maximum edge and face angles. Changing these angles can significantly lower the number of elements for some parts. However, because the resulting elements are less robust, your model may experience slower analysis convergence.
