Support for Multibody Models in Creo Simulate
All parts created or opened in Creo Parametric 7.0.0.0 and later contain at least one default body.
Parts and models with bodies open in Creo Simulate and you can run simulation studies on them. Note the following limitations when using multibody models in Creo Simulate:
You cannot select bodies as references.
Materials applied to bodies in Creo Parametric are ignored in
Creo Simulate.
You cannot assign materials to bodies in Creo Simulate.
You cannot define fasteners between two bodies of the same part.
You cannot apply the following simulation items to bodies:
Temperature loads
Heat loads
Preloads
Mesh controls
You cannot define a contact interface between two bodies.
You cannot select a body and display results for it.
You cannot define a measure for a specific body.
You cannot auto-detect shell pairs within a body.
