Material Property
Material properties are volume conditions in the Species module that refer to selected volumes.
Diffusivity
You can specify Diffusivity for a volume using the following methods:
• Constant Schmidt Number—Specifies diffusivity using the value set for Schmidt Number. You can make the input value a function using the Expression Editor. The value is used to compute the diffusivity (equation 2.373).
• Constant Diffusivity—Specifies diffusivity directly as a constant. You can make the input value a function using the Expression Editor.
Model
Model appears under each component for a volume when you activate the
Turbulence module.
Turbulent Schmidt Number is specified under Model. The value of Turbulent Schmidt Number cannot be greater than 1.
