Simulation Object Status in Creo Ansys Simulation
While you work on a simulation study, the status of simulation objects like the simulation study, simulation inputs like loads, constraints, idealizations, and results change. The status of simulation objects is displayed in the Simulation Tree and gives you a quick idea of what has changed and whether you need to regenerate the mesh, rerun the study, or update just the results.
Model Out-of-Date
The model is out-of-date under the following conditions:
The model geometry was updated.
*
You opened the model in an application like GD&T Advisor for the first time. The application adds a parameter to the model that makes the model out-of-date.
Study Out-of-Date
The status of a simulation study is shown as out-of-date (out of date) under the following conditions:
The model geometry was updated.
Simulation inputs like loads, constraints, idealizations etc. were added, removed or modified.
Results Out-of-Date
The status of results is shown as out of date (out of date) under the following conditions:
When the model is out-of-date.
In this case only results that are backed up can be viewed in the auxiliary window. You cannot see the results out-of-date the Graphics Window. Rerunning the active study invalidates the results of all simulation studies and makes them unavailable.
When the study is out-of-date.
Backed up results are available and can be viewed in the auxiliary windows. Rerun the study to update the results of the active study.
Results Not Evaluated
When you add a new advanced result to the study the parent Results node, the Advanced Results node and the newly added result display the status out of date (Results not evaluated)
Select Results in the Simulation Tree, right -click and select Update Results to evaluate the newly added results.
