About Toggling Between Dimension Types
You can apply different dimension types to circles, arcs, curves, and sketches that include centerlines, depending on the design intent. Once you have dimensioned one of these entities, you can toggle between radial, diameter, and linear dimension types. In the case of a centerline and a non-parallel line, you can toggle between an angle dimension and a total included angle.
You can toggle between dimension types for the following entities:

You can use the shortcut menu to change a dimension type.
You can make any reference dimension strong, or vice versa. If making this change causes the sketch to be under- or over-constrained, you are prompted to make changes to correctly constrain the sketch.
